Carly Estrada, MA, CA, Reiki Master
Carly was born (Sept. 22nd) and raised in Phoenix along with her 3 siblings where she learned to play the piano along with being a synchronized swimmer and a vital member of the varsity volleyball team.
Her innate healing abilities and need to help others led her to attend and graduate from Apollo College's Medical Assistant program in 1998. Carly is a natural born care giver. Being a stay-at-home mom and caring for her own 4 children along with working in respite and rehabilitation care and with medical doctors in an internal medicine practice, she was inspired to work for the public school system where she spent 13 years as a title 1 clerk, crossing guard and classroom aid followed by 4 years in the health office helping and caring for K-8th graders as the school's health assistant.
Practicing natural, herbal and holistic health for herself and her family influenced Carly to learn, take classes and even get certified in various gentle healing techniques, like becoming a Reiki Master. Carly has ancestral and Creator given empathetic gifts that she utilizes alongside her powerful intuition and healing touch during her Hands on Reiki treatments.
With her children being adults and having children of their own, Carly is able to pursue her dream of practicing Chinese medicine as an Energy Healer where her training and experience in Cupping, Gua Sha (scraping) and Chakra Balancing can be applied to help and heal others outside of her family and friends.
Carly works for a Naturopathic Medical Doctor during the week and joined the Back In Motion team May 2022 where they feel very fortunate to have Carly's skills and gentle healing touch and energy to aid in your physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and energetic healing.
Carly is a certified practitioner in Cranio-Sacral Work, Lymphatic Drainage and Movement Treatments, Headache Recovery and Neck/Shoulder Release and Relaxation and looks forward to incorporating all her healing tools and techniques during your session. These also include her knowledge of Essential Oils for aromatherapy along with the use of Hot Towels, Hot Packs and/or stones and Cold Stones..
She invites you to share your thoughts, feelings and feedback. She will take the opportunity to teach you what your body is telling her and may give you home care suggestions.
When not assisting in healing, Carly works out with her personal trainer (aka dad) and enjoys kayaking and cooking, even helping her friend on his food truck, along with spending time with friends and family, especially her beautiful kids and grandkids.
Back In Motion patients can look forward to their session with Carly when she is here one Saturday per month.
